better late than never

i've got to play catch-up so we can post our vacation pics.

about three or more weeks ago, we went on a little overnight camping trip. this was a big deal for me (my family never camped) and i felt really proud of myself for: A. not wearing any makeup B. for peeing in the bushes C. for only requiring an air matress.

we drove about 40 mins north to a little reservoir called sand cove. we should have drove a little more north as it didn't cool off at night quite as much as we would have liked and we had some really pesky drunk neighbors, but we had fun.

the dogs swam and ran around like crazy. until, said neighbors came with their pit bull and we had to contain our rug rats to the campsite (wish we could have said the same for their dog). after a sweaty, adventurous night, i felt i had done my summer camping duties and can look forward to our trip next year : )
